Either way, due to him being from the year 1600, the Yokai Watch was not invented! Maybe even Yokai Medals where not invented either (if it is an invention though)! So I am guessing that Nonuttin never got a medal. So to end my theory, I think the reason that Whisper doesn't have a Yokai Medal because: These monks are just people that where just gifted to see yokai!Īgain like before, who's to say that the Yokai medals are invented yet? (If it is an invention though) Who's to say that those pearls where not found yet? All they had where monks that can see Yokai. There was no Yokai Watch to detect Yokai. So mentioning all that, back in the year 1600, the Senkgoku Period (the time when Whisper was once Nonuttin). So, my point is 60 years ago and more, the Yokai Watch was not invented and the medals would have been useless, pointless, maybe not even invented yet (if they where an invention though. (Think about it like this as well, when Nate traveled back in time, Whisper would have still of been in the Crank-a-kai 60 years ago.)ĭue to my other theory on Whisper, his is over 424 years old, OVER 424 years old! I know there was a special pearl and some people just had the gift of seeing yokai. So Nathaniel made the first gadget that could make humans see yokai.īut before that.
Because you know, later in the anime Steve Jaws got sacked due to copyright (I guess.) and Mark Orckerberg took over, later in YW3 we meet Steve Jaws on an island yada yada yada. We all know that Steve Jaws did not invent the first watch. And Whisper debated that it was Steve Jaws that invented the first watch. If I remember correctly, 60 years ago, the film stated that Nathaniel was the first to create a device that connected yokai and humans together. "So that he can make the Yokai Watch prototype" Nate traveled back to 60 years ago to meet his grandfather Nathaniel so that he can make the Yokai Watch prototype and stop the Wicked yada yada yada. But that's not too important for this theory so let's move on. He also states somewhere in the manga and the anime (don't remember where :grimacing: ) that he's a Butler, not a Fighter. He clearly stated that he doesn't have one in Ep 147 and other episodes (Ep 147, my favourite episode!). So I think it's unfair that everyone apart from Whisper has a Yokai Medal. Please correct me if I am wrong with anything here. So this theory might not be proven very well. (Also, I was just sitting down not long ago until this theory popped into my head. (I haven't played YW4 yet, so I don't know how to get Whisper, or the plot of his quest, or if Whisper explains about his medal etc. IF HE DOES, WHY DOESN'T HE GIVE IT TO NATE?!?!?!īUT WHY DOES HE HAVE ONE IN YW3 AND YW4 WITHOUT AN EXPLANATION?!?!?! WHY DOES WHISPER NOT HAVE A YOKAI MEDAL?!?!?!
